Thanks for the memories!

This past Monday was my last day at QC. I never thought it would be as tough as it has turned out to be. When I transferred there from another school I never thought I'd be so attached to the school, the faculty, the friends. Then again, I am always wrong when it comes to these things... I should have known this was coming. Thanks for the memories guys! F loves you all!

Weekend Recap

This past Sunday I threw a surprise bridal shower for my best friend Pian. It was a small intimate gathering with a few friends. There was a lot of food, games, and a ton of fun. Thanks to all the ladies who came by on such a short notice!

One of my friends asked me to help her pick out some gifts for her so I complied a list for her. I decided to post it on this blog too in hopes it can help some of you in your last minute shopping for your best friend, mom, sister, aunt or even a teacher.

How gorgeous are these Anthropologie aprons? My favorite is the top one and the bottom one. i wouldn't mind one (or two) for Christmas ;).

By the way my first job ever was at Anthropologie! Needless to say whatever I earned working there for 4 months was spent at the store itself. Oh good times....really good times!

The news is...no news!

You know how in English, we tend to open conversations by saying “what’s up?” Does anyone know how you actually answer that? Saying “good” doesn’t really make sense.Bengali (my native language) has a similar greeting - Ki khobor? which literally translates to what’s the news? And I never know how to respond. I’m good? Just got done with work? I usually say “no news” but that does tend to kill the conversation. Yeah...I tend to kill conversations like that....a lot!
Anyways. No news here. I am kind of sick, sore throat, slight temperature, the whole nine yards. Im also really stressed about school since it is my last semester and all. I have PILES of work to do and since I'm a big procrastinator I keep on piling up more work.

So yeah..thats it for today.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have so many things to be thankful for this year even though at times things got really rough. I am going to my friend's house for dinner today and she makes the yummiest food in the whole wide world! Oh here is my favorite Thanksgiving dessert recipe. We made it last year and it was a super hit!
